Who we are

The website itself was built and is maintained by Crovos Technologies (Pty) Ltd ([email protected]), acting as an operator on our behalf.

What we collect

The quote form on our contact page is the only place this website collects personal information. Nothing is gathered from you anywhere else on the site. When you submit that form you give us:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address — optional
• Your suburb or area
• The service you are enquiring about
• Any message you choose to add — optional

Alongside that submission our server records the date and time, the page the form was sent from, the country your request came from, and the result of the automated bot check described below.

Your IP address is not stored. It is converted into a one-way cryptographic hash before anything is written down, and only that hash is kept. The hash cannot be reversed to recover your IP address. We use it for one purpose: to recognise repeat submissions from the same connection so the form cannot be flooded.

Why we collect it, and how long we keep it

We use what you send us to respond to your security enquiry and to prepare a quote. That is the only purpose. We do not sell your information, we do not rent or trade it, and we do not add you to a marketing list.

Submissions are kept in a secure database so that an enquiry is never lost and so we have a record of what was asked and quoted. We keep them for as long as there is a legitimate business reason to, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time using the contact details above.

Who else is involved

We share your information only with the service providers that make this website and our email work. They process it on our instruction and for no purpose of their own:

• Cloudflare — hosts this website, stores the form database, delivers the notification email to us, and runs the automated bot check on the form (Cloudflare Turnstile).
• Google — serves the two typefaces this site uses, and provides the embedded maps on our contact and coverage pages.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies of its own, and carries no analytics, advertising or social media tracking. There is no tracking pixel and no tag manager anywhere on it.

The third-party components listed above are loaded from Google and Cloudflare and may set their own cookies or similar storage — for example, Cloudflare Turnstile needs to hold a short-lived token to confirm the form was completed by a person. That behaviour is governed by those providers' own privacy terms, not by ours. If you would rather avoid the map entirely, simply do not open the contact or coverage page.

How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Form submissions travel to our own server, which accepts them only from this website. Access to the database is restricted, IP addresses are hashed rather than stored, and submissions are rate-limited to keep the form from being abused.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to ask us, free of charge, to:

• confirm whether we hold personal information about you;
• give you a copy of what we hold;
• correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date;
• delete it, where we have no continuing lawful reason to keep it; and
• stop using it for any purpose you object to.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected] or call 076 178 3842. We will ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that nobody else can obtain or change your information.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you are entitled to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa, whose details are published at inforegulator.org.za.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles personal information, we will update this page and the date below. Where a change is significant we will say so here rather than quietly amend the text.
